A message from our founder
"One day while walking, I realized there were people less fortunate than me."
Annette Cimon Lebel founded the Foundation following cancer treatments she received. She observed how much people needed financial help, as they were postponing treatments due to lack of financial means. She decided to help these people.
Thirty years later, the Foundation continues to help people with cancer in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region, the MRCs of Avignon and Bonaventure in Gaspésie, as well as offering its services in 3 MRCs of the Chaudière-Appalaches region (Montmagny, L'Islet, Les Etchemins).
Our Mission
For over 30 years, the Fondation Annette Cimon Lebel has provided human and financial support to people affected by cancer in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region. We believe no one should face this ordeal alone.
