Financial Aid

The Foundation financially helps people with cancer and their companions:

50% of meal and accommodation costs during medical appointments or treatments
$0.23/km for medical transportation before and after treatments, and when the person receives 9 treatments or fewer

Psychosocial Support

We also offer psychosocial support for the person with cancer and/or their caregiver.

These sessions take place in person, by phone, or online with a psychosocial worker (Isabelle Caillouette) and are completely free, with no eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria for Financial Aid

1. Verify that your gross annual family income meets our criteria:

• $33,000 for a single person
• $44,000 for a family of two
• $50,000 for a family of three
• $60,000 for a family of four

2. Verify that you are not receiving help elsewhere

For the same expenses (other foundations, insurance, social solidarity, etc.)

• A copy of your last tax assessment notice (federal or provincial)
• Attendance certificates for your medical appointments
• Meal receipts not exceeding $30 for lunch and $30 for dinner
• Accommodation receipts

To process your request, attendance certificates from the public health administration are mandatory.
